HOYA UV & IR Cut filter for modded DSLR

I tested this filter combined with a Nikon D750 DSLR modified for H-Alfa sensitivity by DDW (Dutch Digital Works), "DAW conversion". I believe this conversion consists of removing the IR cut filter of the sensor. So logically I assumed that applying an external UV/IR cut filter would be a solution to create OWB (Original White Balans) pictures for daylight photography, using regular lenses.

To my surprise this is not the case. I'm not sure what the cause is. On some sites I read that the actual transmission of IR light for this filter is broader then eye sensitivity. So light is transmitted beyong the 700 nm mark.

I will let the picture speak for themselves.

Picture 1: Auto White balance with standard Hoya UV filter Picture 2: Auto White balance with Hoya UV/IR filter Picture 3: Manual Shadow WB with Hoya UV Picture 4: Halogen light Manual WB w/ Hoya UV

This is a series of exposures taken with a 50mm F1.4G Nikkor on a shadowed, rainy daylight setting indoors.

Below: some images with the filter (Hoya UV &IR Cut) on the 50mm 1.4G. When a bright light source is in or near the image field, a very conspicious refelction ghost is present!
