A test run with the C14 and the Starizona reducer @ F7,5 FL=2800mm on the famous Owl nebula. Next to the nebula one little dot is a quasar at a distance of 8 billion light years. Incredible.
A “Salamander” Integrated flux and dark nebula near Polaris
An integration of 8 hours 15 minutes of 300s subs with the Nikon D750 (ISO 800) and the Sharpstar 76mm F4.5 under very dark SQM 21,40 skies in Grandpré, Northern France. Mount was the old HEQ5.
Image size has been reduced 50%. Stacking with Astropixelprocessor, image processing with APP and CS Elements.

The peculiar shape of the IFN in the center of the picture reminds me of a salamander, with the head (looking to the left) and one front leg just below it. The body strecthes down right with a back leg sticking out. the tail is dispersing in the stars.
